It all started with a simple but at the same time dense idea of care and love that is the beating heart of Rewood: that of “saving” a house. A small, uninhabited dwelling made of wood, which would be probably destroyed and burned soon. Right from there, from the intuition and the desire not to let it go, rised Rewood. Saving this building and its entire history was the beginning of a philosophy of passion and dedication in which every wooden material recovered andtransformed by time lives again today in a new object and with a new function. From that wooden house onward Rewood has represented the realization of a dream in which wood returns to show its extraordinary and inimitable value.
Over the years, our furniture has developed not only through the constant search of reclaimed wooden materials, but also in form and design to adapt to market demand: from traditional and rustic forms today the Rewood furniture have minimalist shapes and is made using the most elegant and sophisticated woods.
Each new Rewood evolution is a distant echo of that small home lost in the countryside that lives still today in the research, in the care and passion for time, which with so much emotion and unchanging beauty embellishes our woods with details.
